Text chat not working in lobbies?

I try to type stuff out, but when I press "start", it never shows up in the chatbox.

The hell?

are you using a 3rd party controller or something? when I used to use a logitech PC controller I used to have the same problem

nope. same ps3 controller that came with the thing when i bought it.

I'm just chalking it up to the fact that i'm struggling through REALLY weak internet connection at the moment.

I've had this issue in the past. Only workaround I've found is to exit then reenter the lobby or reset the game/console.

I get the exact same problem as you @Argentus from time to time.

It still doesn't work when I enter a different lobby. Haven't tried turning the console off though. I'll give it a shot next time. Thanks ^^!

All I do is send myself an invite and then quit the game and then accept the invite and it works again

I think it's just internet issues. I've never had the problem though.

It happened to me, but I can still type with my bluetooth keyboard
