I noticed they are two more spots open

I think they should use those two for more characters. One can go to Tengu since he has been requested for a long time and another for another brand new character. I think it would be cool if they made a character concept poll like Tekken did for Tekken Revolution and let the fans chose who the last character should be and give about 10 options. This is how Tekkens looked like

Or like how Skullgirls did for theirs by putting it in rounds and eliminating characters all the way down to the number one choice

One of them can be Kelly who was supposed to be in DOA1 but was scrapped

Any other character concepts they had from DOA1-5 can be added in. Maybe even any character concepts they had from Ninja Garden or even DOA Xtreme would be cool too

I bet DOA6 would take another 2 year timeskip just so they can wait for Lisa to recover and rehabilitated.

If not, she'll probably became the last unlockable character like Helena was in 4 but would have to be remade into a cyborg.

He looks like Jann Lee despite having Zack's fighting style. Probably his long lost twin lol (even if 5U got 3 spiky-haired guys already). He seems to have potential to be a fighter and he does looks cool.

Seriously, I would love to get two characters but I think it's better to not keep the hopes so high for it: apparently seem that there are 2 empty slots, and if the new character will get one of them, could be some chances to get really another character.

By the way it's also possible that Team Ninja decide to place the eventual new character under the random option (or under Alpha 152 lowering so the dices slot) for keeping the simmetry, overall if in their mind there are no other characters planned: so the two empty slots don't guarantee anything in the end.

But yes, if Team Ninja will ever decide to include a second character, would be a great thing suggest to the readers an online survey so to decide according to the fandom's choice.

I wouldn't really say that there were no variety. 3 of them got 1 with a t-shirt on and 1 did got something skimpier than the rest but beyond that, the colors used were a distateful.

They really stated that? That just made me more sour. If they aren't making another batch again, they should have at least TRY to make Leon, Ein and Jacky's fighter packs worthwhile before entirely giving up. They honestly couldn't think well with their brain on their dicks. :/

TN should try expand and reach out to other fans and gamers. The game may be geared towards one target audience but it's indirectly catering to other audiences that DOES patronize them.

Well **** me with a pirate's wooden leg and call me Polly, that would just plain suck if those were the only characters who were getting DLC (but unfortunately it's the only theory that makes sense of that cryptic tweet...)

Well one of the L's did say Leon. Curious if that's really his fighter pack now.

I'm sorry but some are swimsuits like Zack and Brads are trunks and Jan Lee is like Speedos. The others are appropriate for the beach like the shirt and shorts and stuff. So to say none of them resemble male swimwear is kinda close minded if you ask me.

And there is little variety, not alot but some are different from others.

That theory seems very logical and quite correct, the hint does show that those characters will get it and Kokoro,Kasumi,and Momiji were already said to get them. I think they may release them multiple times like the casual pack.

And by the looks of it, Leon being included means that males will in fact get a swimsuit this time. Now everyone can finally stop fighting about "equality" and all that (I hope)

Boy, I hate Tekken with a passion! It's so slow, indirect and unresponsive and all the girls look like tranvestites.
Played TTT2 for a whole week and then gave up... :/

Kelly looks like Jann Lee's design in DOA1. He does not look original. Hell no. Don't ever request that character ever again....
