This thread went full retard so I had to skip to the last page. In other words, this may have already been answered, but has there been any more info on the new character announcement? I heard about it somewhere on this site, though I can't remember where. It may have been a hoax, but I'll ask just to make sure.

At the moment no official new info about new characters.

By the way the fact that Team Ninja allowed to Phase-4 entries to be accepted for the contest (and so potentially able to become DLC outfits relatively soon), it was seen by the people like an hint about a possible close incoming of the character on console, and consequently as a possible close announcement of a new character for the arcade concurrently with such event.

By the way TN also stated that more fans will request for her, sooner she will come on console: according to what happened in the past, this should be a sign that TN already planned to release Phase-4 on console with a lower gap compared to Marie Rose.

@Kronin so in order to get her to console we have to practically bow at their feet and beg? LOL

I'd rather her take months to come out so she isn't rushed so we don't have more bugs like we did with MR

Like I said in my previous post this isn't how the things are, the sentence of TN is only an innocent way to play with the fans. Even in the past they made similar statements for actions that actually they had already planned to do (consensus of the fans or less).

In any cases the tweet had to be interpreted as "If you really want play with Phase-4 then you will give us a reason to port her sooner".

That Synce user wrote that as a status. People asked him for the source but he provided nothing, of course... it should be obvious that he never comments on his own statuses.
