I just picked up Razor's Edge. Does anyone know if a file from the vanilla NG3 demo would work for unlocking the costume that requires a save file?

Discovered a new volf combo with BOTA yesterday, safe and effective!

I'm always up for ninja trails. I have to renew my xbl gold first which I'll have done in the next day or so but feel free to hit me up anytime for some runs.

Hello everyone, this is my first post. I have been following these threads for a while, I am a huge Ninja Gaiden fan, I've just recently finished NGB and NG2 on MN (including missions/ all gold for NG2), and I've started on NG3RE the last week. Definitely takes some adjusting to haha.

I have a question- is there anywhere I can fight the bosses by themselves, like in any trials or anything like that? I'm having problems with Volf on the Day 2 TOV (MN), and it'd be nice if I could practice fighting him without having to go through waves of enemies just to get to him each time.

Also, anyone use Lunar UT's on the alchemists? It's been working real well for me! 1-2 de-limb. Cheers

Mentor 25 has Volf then liz but beware volf A.I in master ninja/ultimate ninja is more defensive compared to mentor

The last row of mentor trials all have the NG2 bosses

Same goes for human genshin in mentor vs master ninja/ultimate ninja

Hey thanks for the quick response! So you're talking about the trials online? I haven't even touched anything besides story mode yet. Are these in the "Shadows of the World" section? Great vids btw Fiend Busa! You're skills have helped me a lot through NGB and NG2!

Thanks xD

Yes the trials are in shadows of the worlds, prepare to be shocked at what the ultimate trials contain hehe

Incase you didn't know Scythe 360 is completely broken and overpowered xD

If you scroll up I posted a video of that trial

Ok cool. I've read a lot of these threads and researched here (and at the archives and fortress) - yeah, I read about the 360y scythe spam with lv.2 scythe, it seems to work ok.

So far though I've had some luck on the first and second TOV's slide-jumping to one side of the arena and charging UT's with the scythe. It clears out most waves of guys, it's just tedious. BTW, does everyone know that the Kusari-gama UT kills all dogs it hits instantly? - !!!

I saw your Volf vid above, but even if I tried to copy your technique exactly, it will still take some practice! haha

Try the DS for ToV's, its the second best weapon after 360T scythe

Lots of high damaging moves and almost all its moves can be turned into a launcher for izuna setups

And tip, all heavy attacks can be cancelled into a repeat and almost all moves can be cancelled into a heavy attack, some have iframes like ayane and KG

Ok. I've been experimenting with different weapons. I was able to beat Doku in TOV1 with Lunar lv.1 UT's. For some reason, the length of the DS UT was too short and I'd get caught by his purple breath.

You can loop doku, keep attacking him and his A.I will fuck up soon enough during his back jump and you can trap him in a loop

Ex. DS

SSTO to get him in loop then in loop SSSTTTT repeat

Ok. Yeah I saw the vid with the scythe where he got backed into the corner by the tree, was that your vid? I' just trying to get through the game on MN and UN however I can first, then go back and experiment.

Thanks bro! I definently will. I'm trying to figure it out on my own first, but if I get stuck somewhere too long, I'll give up and watch a vid.

Wow you make fighting the Alchemists look so easy:eek:

So the trick is to...guard break, Izuna drop combo, then charge ultimate technique?

Yea just delay izuna by a second or they will dodge, can replace UT with SS-TTT, but there are many other methods

DS SS-TTT x2 delimbs (Easiest way)
BOTA- TTTTT loop or SS-TTTT
KG - shuriken to forward T for instant delimb
Scythe - 360T shuriken loop

Regular alchemist you can use explosive bow to launch them and then izuna them while they mid air

ALL DOA6 DOA5 DOA4 DOA3 DOA2U DOAD
