Does PR mean Product Representative? Because if he is, I see why that's all he knows about LR, as he doesn't know what's going on at TN until it's presented to him.

It means Public Relations, but you're kinda right about what it entails.

He's the Creative Director to Team NINJA. PR means Public Relations. He knows what they are working on and what will be in the final product. If they are working on 2, 5, or 20 stages, but the team has only announced two officially, then as far as he's going to say, the game is currently only going to have 2 stages even if he knows there will be more.

This is not saying there will be more than those two stages, but saying that Tom understands how to talk to press about announced plans for future products.

As for those who are still confused by the whole "Last gen aren't getting anything new besides a balance patch", let me try to clear up for you on how I take the information as it was given.

There will be the disc releases of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for $39.99 in America.

There will be a digital release of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for $29.99 in America.

There will be a free upgrade provided to those people who want to continue using their copies of Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate. This upgrade will give you the balance patches of all the characters, but not provide the new stages, characters, or costumes in the upgrade itself. It also won't provide the new system HUD changes at the Character Select screen. I presume when you get this upgrade the new content will be viewable but locked as if it were Core Fighters. In order to use the content, you have to purchase the Last Round DLC from the PSN store at a price that has not currently been announced.

So yes, "Last gen" systems are getting the Last Round game, you just have two methods of doing it: Fresh SKU with the digital $30 content, or old Ultimate copy that you pay for just the new content in Last Round as if it was a DLC release.

and? your post didn't really disprove that in the least assuming that's what you were trying to do

Except I clearly stated that yes, it would, have the content provided to the PS3 and 360. In TWO different ways as well: (1) New Digital Full-game, and (2) An upgrade from Ultimate Disc. Both ways can give you all the Last Round content.

just because you state something doesn't make it disproven, until either this changes http://teamninja-studio.com/doa5/lastround/us/productInfo.html or TN makes a direct statement about it being a mistake ill believe most of the content was cut. and considering they're avoiding the question i doubt thats going to happen

I'm not even sure TN knows what they're doing yet. Seems like the "free upgrade" option was added after they received a lot of negative fan feedback on having to buy the same game over again to continue playing. I could be wrong, but it seems like a last-minute addition meant to quell certain backlash.

Ah, I didn't realize he was actually the Creative Director. I assumed he was just a PR guy.
