It's not just you xD when I was watching the stream, alot of people including myself too noticed that they seemed just way too wet after a match in the face. Hopefully they'll address that later and fix it like how they still need to add navels to the male characters.

How do you guys feel about the complete 180 TN has seemingly pulled again with DOA6? Just like with DOA5, they originally made it sound like they were neutering the fanservice in the game. The latest footage and bonus costumes finally prove that's not the case. You can see that the sexy lose poses are still in with full viewing glory. Honoka's boobs still bounce like they are ready to blast off into space. And those newly revealed outfits for Ayane, Marie, and Honoka are pretty sexy.

I wonder why they try to keep saying they are getting rid of the fanservice only to turn around and jam pack the games with it. Do you guys think it's mistranslation, or are they trying to make the SJW journalists shut up by lying to them?

What 180? XD They never said they were gonna neuter fanservice, that was just those fans over reacting, Shimbori just said they were toning down the fan service which they have, those deluxe costumes for MR and Honoka and Ayane aren't even all that sexy imo, they seem more tailored to the Japanese audience and they still seem way more classy than what we'd get in 5LR. That's just Honoka's bounce since she has the biggest bust out of all the girls(Fans thought they were removing jiggle when TN said multiple times they just hadn't added it in yet), and tbh I feel like the opponent in their lose pose alongside the victor is done more for the cool factor, it doesn't seem to be sexual or sexy unless the player makes it that way with how they ogle.

And no one was making fun of the fans who only liked fanservice and berating them, we were just laughing because they went to super extreme lengths with those silly petitions and boycott threats and complaining about lack of jiggle and skin, and that made them look like a joke in the eyes of people who see DOA as more than just a fap fest or something. Considering that pretty much all of that was other people putting words in their mouths, whether it be game journalists or a certain blogger, and most of TN's actual comments amounted to "we let things get out of hand in 5 and Xtreme 3, so we're dialing it back a bit," I'm indifferent. This entire post is a mess... essentially you're making it sound like TN "abandoned" yall because they suddenly decided to give some of the female characters bras for once. Literally all of the negative backlash is not only because of a literal mistranslation but because people don't use their brains anymore when it comes to the POSSIBILITY of change. These incels hating on the game because of "censorship" or whatever lack proper reading comprehension especially considering the fact that it was stated multiple times that the sexiness wasn't going anywhere. You just jumped the gun. Plus, literally nobody was "berating" anyone who liked the fanservice, and IF they were it's because you people don't know how to not act entitled when things don't go your way.

It might just be me, but why exactly are people getting mad at less fanservice in a FIGHTING game anyways? If the game in question was DOAX it would make sense considering fanservice is the #1 priority of that game but I seriously don't get why people weren't going to buy DOA6 and support TN because of this SJW boogeyman. The gameplay's still gonna be good, and isn't that the mainpoint of the game? Dead or Alive's core gameplay without the excessive fanservice is still Dead or Alive, it's not like they're using their tits in the fighting! There was no 180.
There was only a very small and very annoying group of people aka the "real DOA fans" that completely lost their shit over this while refusing to listen to any reason. Shimbori/Team Ninja and members of this community (including me) tried to tell you from the very beginning that DOA6 was going to be just as sexy and fan servicey as other mainline DOAs (that obviously does not include DOAXs though) before.

To anyone believing they acted on the backlash they got: Lol, that is not how video game development works. Creating a game takes time, it needs preliminary planning and then time for execution. Any skimpier character models you now suddenly see or the implementation of proper breast physics, it all was already in the works months before, before any backlash took place.
