Is your hype dying?

It's not dying down for me, it's more stagnant if anything because lets face it, after DOA5 was announced the main hype came from the next characters reveals.

Of course information about costumes, stages, accessories, etc were cool, but besides the character reveals, Tournaments, the new features in Training Mode, and Online Netcode, everything else was pretty even on my hype meter.

So now that we know what we're getting with our retail build of DOA5, there is no longer reason to hype myself up for that very reason. But once I actually receive my game, then the hype will jump to an all time high because all my mind will be focused on is "TRAINING"...!

A little bit because of what we are hearing about the netcode. I am still really hype for the game. More than i've bee in years for a game release.

I'm still hype for the game. Most FG's I don't even play online, so yeah.... As for story mode, I can care less about that too. I just wanna play the game with other ppl.

I think I might run through story-mode when I pick it up the 25th. They spent time on it, might as well take advantage of it... I'm not going to jump to matchmaking until I'm at least familiar with the moveset and framerate changes.

Still hype. It overflowed and I spoiled a little of the story among a few other things. But it's still there and these last few days are still hard.

My hype, dead?
Not really no, but i'm also hearing some bad stuff about the net code.
I don't have the game, but it seems like online is really bad right now.

honestly my hype plummeted when word of leon being cut surfaced. I completely passed on SCV when my main there was cut and was on the verge of doing it again with this game but decided to still give it a shot and just use my secondary but if the netcode is as garbage as people claim then this game will be worthless to me. i was gonna buy it day one but will stick with my original plan and gamefly this first to see for myself before wasting 60 on a fighter with an unplayable netcode

I went through all story mode videos, I don't care about being spoiled. And I hardly play fighting games for the story anyway. I play to play.
If the gameplay + netcode is good, and I like the characters I use TN could poop on a stick and call it Story Mode.
So yes, I'm still excited about this game. Oops.

Here are the only "inconveniences" I smell so far (imo) :
- the lack of Leon
- some stages lacking details
- some color swaps
- Helena's nerf

I felt the same from SSBM to SSBB (character cut, Peach's nerf, etc.) but the main problem was the mecanics of the game. If DOA5's mecanics are solid, I won't make such a big deal about it. Plus, we'll probably have DLC costumes or a patch (too bad they said "no" to DLC characters...).

Nope, I've been pretty stoked about playing once more for awhile now. There's too much exploration I want to do in this game (it's a totally new game, things will be tinkered with by a lot of folks). Awesmic knows how hyped I am lol.

I'm too anxious about finding any new tech with Ayane.
