Dead or Alive 5 - Known Bugs/Glitches

Who cares!? Wake up kicks are getting nerfed and they're stupid. There's NOTHING wrong with the BD outside you not liking it.

The fact that it's a glitched animation that gives characters mobility options that break the ground game. You're to spin it back to the playing to win thing, but we've already established the fatal flaw in using it.

You did, but again that's subjective. For example if you don't pick a character with tridashes, fly-cancels, etc. . . you've already lost the match at the character select screen.

This back dash cancel in retrospect to DOA5 could be considered an instant "win" on the ground game. We've seen what's happened in games where characters have advanced mobility options like this, and it isn't very kind to those that don't. TN should go either way with this BD-cancel, remove it completely, give it to the appropriate characters, or give it to everyone.

I would consider characters with flip animations such as Sarah or Kasumi to have an instant win on the ground game because they can just flip over any wake up kicks, and sometimes end up behind their opponent and have a lot of options from there. At least BDC will just cause you to make a lot of space.
So that was a pretty poor argument to make seeing as these traits alone would give characters "advanced mobility".

That being said I don't particularly like the BD cancels, I don't hate them "yet" because no one abuses them, Though I think a better fix would be buffing the back dash, they need to create more space or be a bit quicker, I hate the fact that if I try to back off of a downed opponent by BDing I still get hit by the wake up kick.

They take a risk with their flips, there's no risk at all with BDC.

Give it to everyone and fix the buffer system.

Risk with flipping? If you try to just wake up after they flip over you, you are at a 5 frame disadvantage no matter wtf happens. Even worse if you miss the wakeup kick. Or you can just lay there like a moron and take repeated 2P's until you wake up, but then guess what? Oh snap they flipped over you?

Is it just me or do CB set-ups at the wall only work in training mode? In an actual match the CB move knocks the opponent into the wall instead.
I've only had that problem with Kasumi's CB move, especially when you you it as the first move of a combo. Hitomi's and other characters' CB move works fine with me. Was messing around in dimensions recently and Kasumi's :6::P+K: knocked other characters to the other side of the stage lol

The ground game doesn't break the game. Unless guessing is suddenly broken. . .

When your only realistic options to deal with the ground game are force-teching or backing far away...

The priority on wake-up kicks is a bug in and of itself.

If I knock you down a set of stairs, I should not have to worry about getting hit with a wake up kick; If I knock you down while my back is near a wall, I shouldn't HAVE to guess between wake up kicks. I'm assuming when you say "ground game" wake up kicks are what you mean. They're dumb.

Wake up kicks are a guess and a risk to do.

You mean when you're far away from your opponent you can still get hit by it?

Serious? A risk with flipping? Most prelaunch the flip so they are already landing while you wake up, it avoids kicks and keeps you safe even if a player stands up normally. What is the risk there? Come on now.

If you dont use a wake up kick they'll be at disadvantage. If they time it wrong they'll be hit by a wake up kick.
