    Being a noob is not really a good or a bad thing. It's just a neccessary step everyone goes through when picking up a new game.
    Being a scrub is bad, since you are fraudulently claiming that you posses skills that you do not have.

    So yes, being a noob is better than being a scrub.

    @Hold_Junkie93 yea that one. @Brute Ok. I don't want to be a scrub, but I don't know if I'm still a noob either since I've had Core Fighters for a pretty decent amount of time.

    You're not a scrub for not understanding a match-up. As long as you understand how stun game works. Have good launcher mixup and understand your character's tools. Use your strongest throw to punish holds. You'll learn DoA, in no time. The right amount of offense/defense helps. I myself am just getting use to certain match-ups. I've played and beaten good players on/offline. Experience is a step like Brute says

    I want to, but it's hard. Same with offline since it's just me and my cousin for now. Idk, I like this game, really. It's just hard not to get salty from a loss.

    Why does Kasumi's combos have to be precise? I'm stuck on her CB LVl5 combo challenge. You can't mash them, but you have to be fast too...:(

    The one after it is a bit easier IMHO. For Kasumi's "Swag combo". Input KK7K~6P+K right after the launch in a smooth motion with a slight delay on the 6P+K. After the 6P+K teleport, consciously move your thumb to the "9" position then press P then K consecutively (while still rest the finger over whatever your P+K button is, i.e. R1 for me). So it should go ~6P+K~9~PK~6P+K~KK (just mash the last two KKs)

    I do it like this: KK7K - 6P+K (press 6P+K one time, when the 7K hits) - 9P - (when in the air I press K after 9P) - Immediately after on hit press 6P+K once - last press K twice minimum, or more if you wish so.

    torso means anything above your waist and below your neck, not including your arms. its much more accurate

    Then try Level 5. Learn the frames on your opponents' moves and know when to crush, sidestep, interrupt or punish. Also, try to recognize any patterns.

    What about the height of the attack so I can tell when I can hold it? Or is it best to figure out the frames first instead of the height?

    Hit effects are an aesthetical preference for most, as longtime DOA vets have been used to playing the game without hit effects. The reason for Classic camera is to keep the camera fixed on the players even as special dangerzones are triggered, especially in the top area of Scramble and other stages where the screen shakes.

    What about connection requirements? If I put "ANY", all I get are bad connections, like 0 to 2 bars or no shows. If I try any higher like 3+, no shows period.

    When you mean Stance Position or Special Property, you're referring to things like Ayane's back turns, Helena's little crouch position, Kasumi's teleport attacks , etc?
