    This is my first DoA. I got it about two or three weeks ago. My closest frame of reference is that I played a lot of VF2, haha.

    Grabs>holds holds>strikes strikes>grabs. Triangle system. During certain stuns you show slow escape which allows you to get out of stuns quicker. To slow escape, hold H (The block button) and move your analog stick around. The faster you do it, the quicker you get out of stun.

    Thanks for the slow escape tip, I didn't know that. I think I just need to keep practicing, figure out what my good pokes are with Mila and learn to read players better for holds. Sometimes I just get comboed all to hell though before I can do much and it makes it hard to learn.
