    One can't expect that everyone has both a ps3 and a xbox, and is familiar with it's controllers, therefore, one is actually just giving people one reason more not to take part in these tournaments.

    Well some have turbos and other cheats and things, but another reason is that some have been down to wear down the USB ports. It's not a common problem, but some organizers would rather not risk their consoles getting worn.

    Being worried that the USB ports are worn down is the most stupid reason I've ever heared to be honest, however, this turbo and cheat thing is understandable.

    Almost everyone of those has bad input lag with converters from PS3 > 360. The good ones are the reverse from Xbox 360 > PS3 for odd reasons.

    my experience of an adapter from last KOF.
    a cheap one : mayflash.

    It was a bad one for me, it sometimes put random input. At the end, i didn't use it.

    maybe it was the one i purchased, since someone else didn't have the same problem as me.

    At the end i borrowed a cronus. But It's not sold anymore.

    Now another tips to make it work correctly.
    You plug your adapter to the xbox, and plug an xbox controller on the adapter. After a small time of sync, you unplug the xbox controller and plug your ps3 pad.

    But the big tip is some xbox controller can't sync with the adapter. Took me a while to find this at KOF. So the best is to ask to different player their controller

    You won't see me online anymore. Had enough of it. Offline tournaments are the only thing I'll do (if I'm able to). GGs to all my friends!!!

    Personally, I think you are working yourself ways too much into a rage because of online play Tim.

    I guess that means one person less now for my tally sheet, although I'm quite sure you'll will try it again some day.

    I feel your pain all too well. For me it's the only way to get my practice for TFC since no one is locally around :(

    Of knowing there won't be lag on ps4 makes me all excited. But yes... as you said 2 years; seems like a hella long time. Guess I'll have to survive online lag till then.

    I only do tag when a friend invites me or I literally can't think of anything else to do. But yeah... tag combos are a pain especially now that Phase is out...

    It's actually my least fav mode, it's not much action goin' on. But I assume it's just 'cause I havn't played the previous REs

    But that mode is the only Survival horror element left that represents the whole resident evil genre, till they screwed it up with action in every chapter. >_<

    I know what you mean, and that's the reason why all those who played the previous REs hate RE5.
    A bit more horror in RE5 would've been nice. I'll probably buy RE4 to see how it originally was.
    But I still think it's an extremely boring mode lol. Idk, I just don't like it. Maybe I should play it on pro mode + headphones + dark room to fully experience the horror.

    Doa online frustrates me like hell, so I pretty much stopped playin'. I even win more often with Tina than with Pai.
    I kinda lost my motivation for my guide vids aswell. The editing is an absolute pain. 5h a day for 5 days 's too much for me.
    I need to see if I keep uploading stuff on YT. I play very bad online.
    And don't get me started with doa6...
    sry for the news. Main reason is the netcode.

    If you ever get the chance of finding a copy of DOA2 PS2 or DOA2U Xbox, buy it, it would probably be dirt cheap. ;)

    Well, since female Tengu appears, I don't think it's really necessary.

    Indeed. If you are playing to get DOA2, the easiest one to get is via the JPN PSN store of DOA2 Hardcore. Pretty cheap but you don't really need to get it since she's coming out.

    Nah, he never had that taunt on the floor. But I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy the moveset. He was pretty terrible in DOA4 but i'm sure with the ground game and moveset, it should be better.

    After not playing a new game since September.. it makes the game 10x more exciting and fun!! I've missed the experience of playing new games

    Don't worry. I'll practice stuff offline and sometimes play with friends online. And btw, I think you get even better by not playing a game too often.
    The online lag is making me sick. I slowly started to drop combos offline which I wouldn't drop online :(

    Online training is useless for preparation for a Offline tournament. =/
    Its strange how online you can buffer your inputs, and offline it doesnt work that good. XD

    This is one of the many reasons I often take long breaks from DOA5U it's needed or you will slowly grow to hate the game because of online.
