You know... the type of people who think Ribbon Motion Inputs make a Fighting Game deep...
The Guilty Gear crowd aren't particularly happy with DBZF especially after an interview with the Developer saying they might make the next GG simpler for beginners.
Who cares what the GG crowd thinks. ArcSys even hinted on making more Dragonball in the future so what is the problem. In fact, GG community should play DBFZ on that case.
there does seem to be a hell of a lot of crossover in the crowd playing DBZF, you got marvel pros, kof pros, smashers, doa players, uniel players, etc, all kinds of ppl playing it, which is to be expected when you combine a franchise as iconic as DBZ and put them in a fighting game as accessible as DBZF
And the Dragon Ball franchise could help them get there.... I hope it works out other wise its back to me bitching about BlazBlue and Guilty Gear.... actually no it isn't because I never played them long enough to piss me off.
What makes ArcSys on hitting top notch is because they recently worked on franchises and turned it into a proper fighting game. DB games back then on the 2D plane weren't very popular or wasn't at all good to begin with, but if you let a modern company handle it, it can turn to a surprisingly well made fighter.
