Despite all of them being the same game, the first 1 has the best difficulty curve. Starts out super hard, so hard that despite having a gun your better off running from every fight, then it gets super easy once you start getting your upgrades, then it gets super hard again when they introduce the mutants

The rest of the games start out kind of hard, and then it gets easy and then the difficulty just plateaus around midway through the game. boooring

Not really, I just dont like it when player strength and enemy threat level don't rise in tandem. By the halfway point in most far cry games you've acquired and maxed out your upgrades, then all that s left to do is plough through the rest of the game with nothing being able to pose a threat

That's why in the first far cry when they replace the ineffectual soldiers with super mutants who are nonplussed by your fancy upgrades, it's a great turning point, right b4 you get bored of being op the game presents a worthy challenge, forcing u to rethink your strats and use your powers in different ways, it's great

Well that was kinda the case with Far Cry Primal.... which is the only Far Cry I've played... but that one had bigger problems than just the Difficulty Curve.

You know what.... I'm going to get Far Cry 4... just to see what you mean.

Far Cry 4 isn't very memorable

The advantage of non-memorable games is you don't remember the crappy sections either.... which is more than I can say for Dark Souls.

@breathofflame34 yeah, far cry 4 isn't the type of game you walk away from with rich memories, it just ends and your're like, "welp, that was a far cry game :/"

fary cry 2, i don;t remember a thing about 2 other than taking place in south africa (i think, it might of just been in some fictional african country but everyone in 2 spoke with a south african accent). 3 has memorable story bits but outside of that not much else. 4 is just bleh and primal i've never played so i can't comment
