as much as it sounds like bayo rip off, it's not. it's a 3rd person shooter that had sooo much potential but is let down by poor execution. it had zombies hordes, fun magical spells, fights against large aircraft and giant screen filling monsters, large destructible environments, a sexy protagonist, all the ingredients for a great game, but naw, so many flaws in it's execution make it a chore to play

i don't think a relrelease is gonna fix any of it's problems, but maybe it's a sign that we may get a bulletwitch 2 down the line, which i would be tottaly down for, if they've learnt what didnt work the first time and want to right the wrongs in a sequel then hell yeah, but only time will tell

not at all, the games biggest sin is that it's poor in conveying information. where you're supposed to go, what you're supposed to do to advance, certain parameters that if not met end in a mission fail but the games doesn't clearly tell you what those parameters are, alot of stuff like that makes the game confusing and annoying to play

you are getting real predictable with your comparing everything to dark souls responses. but i woudln't say it like DS, playing bullet witch is more like playing silent hill 2 but you don't have map with red markers telling you where to go or cut scenes that indicate some sense of progress

so you're left with large open levels and no direction, which would be fine in an open world game, but bullet witch isn't an open world game, it's a linear game with REALLY large (almost too large) levels, which honestly feel more like a developer going nuts with the new hardware rather than designing a level with the game they want to make in mind

hell they could done the far cry or bionic commando method and just have all the areas you aren't supposed to go filled with enemies that'll instakill you but monsters in bullet witch are such a non-issue that they don't deter you from exploring.
