How can anyone with more than 3 brain cells even try to argue Tekken being "deeper" than VF? Do some people in the Tekken community even know what "depth" means?
I thought this shit was an article highlight. Obviously not true but most players started off Tekken and never played anything else or try to get into something else but wasn't doing Justice. It's a matter of opinion so if he feels Tekken is more depth, then for him it is.
Yeah, I don't see why some Tekken enthusiasts feel the need to put down VF, DOA or other fighting games. What does hating on VF accomplish? The game needs more support as it is.
This article is old as shit, but the idea behind it is still fairly new. The "depth" from Tekken really just comes from its convolution. It doesn't have deep mechanics, doesn't have deep properties. It's just...a dumb game.
And the irony is that a lot of players from other fighting games play Tekken despite its community having bitterness towards Tekken and its fans.
And I really don't like it when someone just compares their fighting game to another just to feel better about themselves as a player of that certain fighting game. Fighting games were designed in their own way, there really isn't any point comparing.
Well for starters; a biased dipshit wrote this. Most tekken players like to talk about games they don’t have any knowledge about.
@ryu_highabusa a game where it’s easy to get into and depth of a game’s mechanics are 2 entirely different things. DOA is easy to get into but it still has a lot of depth.
obvious troll
"A typical VF combo is punch, —> punch, kick. How the fuck is that hard? In Tekken it’s more like lp,lp,lk,lk,rk. pretty obvious which is harder and takes more skill to do."
