I mean dont do what I did like starting with 8 characters and you'll be fine lol. 3 seems like an ideal number

I'm guilty of being a little narrow in my inventory myself but I kind of feel like having one of each type would be smart? Grappler, Defensive/Counter, and Offense heavy? DOA is a little interesting though because a few of the fighters encompass multiple play-styles.

Naw your Lisa is fair. A little too agressive and OH heavy (If I were as good as I used to be I would be punishing those a lot more than when we played, and the really experienced players on this forum will eat you alive for every one you throw out carelessly believe me) but that can be tamed.

One character, and one character alone.

It really depends on how many characters you can handle and feel comfortable with. I’m a player that can’t really play with only one character because it becomes boring after a while, but if you feel comfortable with using only one character, go for it.

normally you'll have your main (or mains), a character that covers up your main's bad match ups, and then other characters you enjoy playing, so 3-5 characters is ideal. just don't be idiot like i was back in mk9 and main 5 characters who all have the same playstyle so they all won and lost the same match ups lol
