@mizking Tekken 6 is actually better on the Xbox 360. The PS3 version was awful because of the long loading times and low resolution. The PS3 version was 1024x576 while the Xbox 360 version was 1365x768 with MB off.
Both are on low resolution with the motion blur on, but with motion blur off, the Xbox 360 has the higher resolution. And yeah, TTT2 has a higher resolution because of its 720p pixel height. The arcade version has a much higher resolution however, on both Tekken 6 and TTT2.
I do play Tekken and enjoy it, but I feel that the game does a good job of giving the impression that the game is deeper than it is, whereas DOA gives off the impression that the game is shallower than it is.
I can get behind you with the community but not the game itself. Tekken 7 is far from a masterpiece but mechanically it's very tight (Apart from a few bugs that make for some LOL videos). It looks good on PC and perfectly defines what 3D fighter movement and whiff punish should look like and be.
It's a brutally punishing game. In DOA I can go against someone much much better than me and if they make a mistake I might take a round (Match is unlikely). In Tekken in the same situation I would get God Matched.
Please correct me if I'm wrong but, tbh, I haven't seen ANY fighting game with a decent fanbase. Even in the DOA fanbase we have our own "wall of shame", like the ones that are creating drama bc of the toned down fanservice lol.
Fighting game communities overall seem to be pretty toxic. Tekken's just happens to be the epitome of a cancerous fanbase.
