cause we all know that in short sets characters who are oppressive and have a lot of good options tend to do better, but what characters would you say would be stronger in a long set like a FT20 as opposed to a FT2?

It's tricky. In longer sets your not adapting to the character but to the player so I'd say defensive characters. Bayman, Lei Fang, Ayane and maybe Momiji.
