So tired of reading "I'll just wait for the ultimate edition" lol From the same people that bought SFV around it's original launch, Tekken 7, and are already going to buy SCVI. Not you specifically. It's just annoying in general. Like people don't understand that this is the direction of all fighting game companies now and like to pretend that TN/DOA is somehow worse than other franchises who do the same shit.

i never bought sfv in my life tho. the only sf game i have is the 3ds one. and tekken 7 was a gift from a family member. i know this is about me because i've been saying it a lot.

Think of it like this. outside of the cast that DOA 6 will have in it's story mode, because DOA 6 will have a story mode, what characters do they really have to give y'all for free? There are the core characters for the game, and then there are additional characters that some people want/expect to see. "Chopping bits from your completed game as DLC" and "Ultimate edition" have absolutely nothing in common.

DOA6 is likely to get an upgrade though. It's only the vanilla version.
