Hmm. I'm no expert, but i remember what a guy told me once. Japanese players are just not used to the "dirty" playstyle of Alpha. And i feel that there is some true behind that, i remember when xcaliburbladez picked alpha and cleaned the japanese players in some major.

Was curious on it. They also list her as low tier or just overall not very popular. I think Alpha is pretty heavy on the net usage on dealing with the character in general but even then, i'm somewhat pretty neutral.

I like alpha character wise and don't really pay attention to tier standing but I just dislike her burst throw and all her CBs she has access to, otherwise then that I can't say I hate her. I'm not surprised Japan doesn't like her since she hardly got any DLC or attention anyways besides tourney play xD

I like her enough as a one-off boss character. Not enough to be a recurring mainstay. I do like that she's all about getting that 50% Hi-Counter Throw though. That's always funny. Otherwise, bland and I'd take almost every other character over Alpha

The only thing I dislike about Alpha-152 (which is a part of My DOA chart) was when she was the boss of DOA4 and how she attacks you. Its a character I don't mind that much.

I've learned no matter how I feel about a character/matchup, I just have to adjust to what's in front of me. That said, her 236236T is ridiculous. Using a hold against her is basically throwing away a round.

Love her Gameplay... hate her Personality (or lack there of).

Hate her. Dumb character that just makes DOA look bad. Was a mind-numbingly annoying boss in DOA4 too which pretty much encouraged cheap tactics to beat her. Will be a happy dude when her ass is gone in DOA6. And yeah, she's not a good DLC costume seller either.

Dumb design. Dumb gameplay. What's to like?

She's another Kasumi clone story-wise. That's about it. Gameplay wise? Well, she has a lot of stuff she can work with, however, once you can knock her down, she can only block or hold, so if your reads/pressure is good, then she's as good as dead. Not going to miss her if she doesn't come back, but the way you had to fight her was different compared to the other characters.

I think people partially hate her because of DOA4, she’s also someone you can mash with and piss people off.

Thats why I want her to be in DOA6... hopefully with a personality change.
