@Onryoki Wait but we must careful though, this can condition someone to burn up there meter and get thrown for it on HiC. Like if someone where to perform a SDS near a wall into a guaranteed wallsplat (technically) and you do a Break Hold to escape that guaranteed wallsplat, someone could not finish it by baiting you to Break Hold burning up a meter thinking they'll do the mid and then get thrown.

So the SDS false throw mixup in DOA5 might actually be a true mixup in DOA6 now because the player tries to BH out of that situation. Also this might make wallthrows even more common now if you do it near a wall. It makes sense you want to BH from a SDS near a wall because you don't want to get wallsplatted resulting in even more damage.

naisu, i guess, i mean never really played a whole lot of characters who could get much off their sds so it's kinda w/e to me, but it's good that there's an option to deal with rather than eating unbreakable dmg. frankly i'd prefer if sds wasn't a thing but i guess this is the best alternative

@Camel with 2 thumbs You can condition someone to burn up a meter for it, especially near a wall because that's a free wallsplat for a move within the right advantage. A person would go "shit i'm near a wall, -tries to BH-" only to get wall thrown for it because he/she tried to BH the followup only to know that the other player never went for the followup.
