Just don't implement the dog into his/her movelist. That's the only thing I wouldn't like about the character. Kazumi's tiger, for instance in Tekken 7, like, why, what was the idea behind it? Its as if Kuma should appear if you press certain button combination with Heihachi. Kazumi's a capable fighter, to the point where she doesn't need her pet tiger to help her out.

Sonico in Nitroplus Blasterz was an interesting way to implement pets into a moveset... But I'd totally be cool with just a background pet. Especially if it doesn't just stand there, but actually reacts to how the fight's going, like barking excitedly when you take the lead, or looking nervous if you're losing. And it's GOTTA participate in all their taunts.
