    I just got the email that i'm officially hired to work at Nintendo New York/Nintendo World for panel and security. They'll put me on the second floor post which is all Pokemon, I start when the COVID issue slows down until opening day (who knows how long!).

    I'll be surrounded by Pikachu, kids and parents that love Pokemon, and happy faces etc. Looks like i'll have to step up my knowledge with the world of Pokemon!

    It does not seem to be an as essential get as RE2 last year. It's apparently really short and can be finished in 5 hours. I guess that's why they also included that multiplayer part. It has a Metacritic ranking of 81, that's pretty close to the 70s, which makes it appear to be a rather mediocre experience.

    Fun Fact: the end time doesn't actually count cutscenes, so most playthroughs are actually about 9 hours but shows up as 5. 9 hours isn't short for an RE game tbh RE3 original is only like 7-10 hours tops

    You can literally gather all of the FFVIIR trailers in one go, and you'd have the full game right there.

    Been playing it. Fun game so far, quite a number of things not present from the original, a bit linear, but that's Midgar for ya.

    Some people are smooth lmao. On Twitch, some players leave the game title as DOA6 while playing DOA5LR so that the latest viewers stick around. Smart, since people or newer players tend to only follow the latest norm or whatever is new. So you make 5 look like its the latest raising it's popularity sorta.

    But I wouldn't want DOA to fall into their hands because I don't need to play a fighting game with 300,000 particle effects on the screen at any given time and all the males and females looking like Lightning

    @Macca Beam With what DOA has to offer from DOA5, DOAX3, & DOAVV when it comes to sex appeal, SE would've treat it like their localization or remakes make it less sexual or remove features. KT is mainly better when its only available in Japan/Asia since it has English text included, and nothing gets toned down.

    First Dissidia NT, now DOA6. Square wants to seek a new partner for future Dissidia games, and DOA6's clickbait shenanigans stopped it's vanilla support lol.

    TN can't catch a break lol. I sympathize Dissidia side a bit more than DOA6.

    Got Final Fantasy VII Remake. Early copy, but apparently the copies were meant to be shipped already (?). Also got Persona 5 Royal, but guess I'll play FFVIIR first. Here we goooooo.

    I'm still debating if I should get FFVII Remake or not. It looks gorgeous, but I hate linear RPGs and I heard it is going to be quite linear as Midgar is not very open at all. Maybe you can update me if that's really the case or not. :)

    Midgar in the original is very linear and in the demo is also pretty linear so it's safe to say the main story stuff at least will be linear however there's stuff to do outside of that so we'll see.

    For heads up, it's not the final update of that game. It's only the final "DLC". They still have to patch out Tamaki's 4H+K and like 15 other bugs from that character, but that may also be addressed on that last DLC itself so who knows.

    I'm not sure they will patch moves and stuff like that if they don't earn money with costumes. I don't see this happening.

    I think they just didn't have the balls to say it was the last patch. Why bother bringing up "online, store, etc will still remain available" when no duh they should remain available.

    Imagine making DLC cashola but still get an L in the end lol.

    Anyways, expect a DOA6 upgrade in the future on the next console platform. Those Tag modes is a possibility due to increased ram on next-gen.

    Oh yeah without a doubt, they definitely won that battle. It's more towards their integrity for the series. The shenanigans and gimmicks have been contained but not destroyed.
