Lol i remember those days, back when the american sf4 meta was "No dp'ing until you have 2 bars to make it safe", Japan didn't give fck though and they let those unsafe dps fly like crazy, and like u said they were cheered on every time they did it

There was a SFV tournament where Tokido mirror matched an American Akuma player who was also pretty good, but the best part was the commentary. There was like some setup with Akuma that wasn't easy to do apparently.
