There are LOTS of things I do not approve of in his play, that only justifies his play as online heavy. And that is not good. Listing all the issues would fill up about more than half the length of my Ayane guide.

Mhm. Well you won't like my pppk spamming online scrub Ayane at all lol. I seriously don't understand what to do with her. So many things put her in stances I don't want to be in. I try mimicking things I see in your videos/threads but can't just get them to work, lol. But im getting better! .

You won't learn anything by mimicking me if you don't understand how and/or why something (this is in general with anything btw). You have to practice or take time out to figure out why something is as solid as it is. And I don't knock down players that are trying to learn anything, lol.

6K2K** At any rate, Ironheart, since I do not have access to a PS3 or PSN outside the Vita. I'd recommend uploading a replay (or a few) for me to watch and I can critique your play. That way, you'll figure out what you could try to work on or not. (Revy I'll give critique on your vids this week, internet seems to be a little decent finally).

I try to look like Im doing something but I can't deal with pressure characters when Im with her. Probably because Im not used to her/used to using her, or her tools. Some strings are very unsafe. Is it better to do 6kk or 6k2k? Both are unsafe but 6kk is wow unsafe. I try to mix things up but under pressure everything just flops lol

You don't poke with 6KK, ever. 6K2K is nothing to rely on either (heavy reliance on 6K2K is an online tactic tbh, so easy to see offline). P, PP, K, KK, 6P, 6K (for use of 6K2K 'sparringly'), 2P, P4P, 6P3, 6P3[4] are your best friends while front turned. The mix ups off her neutral P is what makes her CQC scary.

She is very unsafe. That being said, she's a very rewarding character. As Hajin said, don't try to mimick. Learn her fundementals and manifest your own playstyle.

For example, I play completely different from Bluprint, Force, and Aelivia. Each of us has our own unique style - which is fucking awesome.

She's unsafe "on paper", she's extremely safe with the way I take advantage of her actual safety and mix ups.

If people are rushing you down Aka, 2P & 4P become your best friends. Hajin pretty much outlined your pokes. It's perfectly fine to poke with 6K, where 6K2K's purpose is to interrupt people that try to attack you after blocking 6K. Using 6K2K from neutral is just asking to be low punished. It is aggravating how effective 6K2K is online. Also, Ayane's safety comes from her free-canceling.

Thanks for all the help so far guys. All those pokes hajin listed are a big help already. 6KK/6K2K was the main way i was poking people which explains why i kept getting punished. If i can ever remember my YT password, i might be able to upload some of my ayane play later.

I have a lovely way of dealing with people who try and punish my lows

im currently practicing with Ayane by doing arcade ladders/training mode and im starting to notice i mess up a lot of my combos simply because i keep forgetting which moves make her go into BT. But using the new pokes is actually really helpful against the high difficulty AIs, so they should help me online too.

AI is not the way to go, bud.

i know it's not the most effective way to practice, i kind of just use it as a way to practice combos on a moving opponent.
