Chip damage doesn't kill in P4A either. I like it that way. Chip damage is dumb.

No Chip Damage in SF?? What?? That's dumb. Loved it back in the day. SFA2 and SFA3 especially. What a bunch of punks.

funny, i actually jumped on P4A yesterday was harshly reminded of that "alright he's down to 1 pixel health in the corner, im gonna throw out this special and chip him out, oh wait, chip damage doesn't kill! and that special was unsafe! now im eating a combo! and now im dead! GOSH DAMMIT!"

but srsly it's like with DOA2, where falls didn't kill (im pretty sure they didn't) and you had land an actual hit to finish your opponent off, I didn't like it back then and im getting a similar vibe from SF5

also, Force, if u think chip damage is dumb, does this mean you hate MK? where normals and specials do chip?

MK is the very that sparked my hate for Chip in the first place.

MK is dumb as hell competitively. If you want to see chip damage at its dumbest, check out a game called Nitroplus and see how much chip damage Saber's level 3 super deals. If you have only about 30% health left, it's pretty much a free kill for Saber.

When you're in a corner with 1px of health waking up to a Shoto waiting to EX DP you, you may like the removal of chip damage KOs.
