Analog sticks are terrible for DOA. Always have been. Pretty sure that almost everyone who plays DOA with a controller uses the Dpad.

Analog sticks are terrible for any fighter lol. I use dpad and never use analog. I only use analog when I'm stagger escaping.

I only use the analogue sticks for quater circle, half circle and full circle motions, otherwise im all dpad

This is just my opinion; Movement wise, analog stick fails on that department. Blocking, kinda half and half depending on the game. Execution, I say analog somewhat excels in that compared to dpad, but that also depends on the game. If you can switch from dpad for blocking and movement to analog for execution(and stagger escaping) during a match, I say that is amazing, cuz I can't for the life of me do it. Lol

I hate the dual shock d-pad, it hurts my finger when I try to do Z inputs and full circles... But even then I use it more than the analog stick.
If it could be like DC d-pad it would def be nicer.
