You'd think so but nope.

I can get super cheap games in retail so thats not it.

I think its because steam does for PC what XBL & PSN does for consoles.

It unifies and simplifies the platform. No need to keep track of multiple accounts for games and no more pain in the Ass Disc Based DRM.

Thats just my theory.

I don't use Steam because they pissed me off when I bought Saints Row 2 and Darksiders way back in 2009.

Thats exactly what I was in the Process of doing until last night when they pissed me off again.

Steam just isn't going to change. I'l buy games from Steam but I'm never going to download them from them.

Yet those same people you support are the ones that choose whether or not to integrate the DRM in the first place.

Sounds like a dev/publisher thing, not a Steam thing.
