^ idk why lol NG is pretty mediocre compared to games like DMC1, Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising etc. The later ones have ayane and thats it

As someone that came from playing platinum games with hundreds of hours in bayonetta mostly, Ninja Gaiden games have much more to offer to me combat wise. But in general, different design philosophies, though i'm still a fan of a lot of platinum works.

NG Black/Sigma is miles better than DMC1 & Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Bayonetta is the only hack n' slash action game that really matches its level of gameplay brilliance. NG2 onwards have been kinda ass in comparison however...

Genma Onimusha is still my absolute favorite Hack and slash game. I still need to finish Bayonetta as well.
