Are you talking about rank or lobby matches,some of people in rank match aren't that good, considering the core fighters version.

how much i block i depends on what character im fighting, if im playing a character who doesn't have scary throws or can't kill me off a low (phase 4 and nyo for example), i'll block all day

but vs characters who can kill you for blocking because they have ridiculous throws into guaranteed critical hits or can get full combo off NH lows (helena, pai, kokoro, christie for example) you can't really afford to just block all day

im talking about the types who like to mash after helena's 3p and kasumi's 66k . the level of abuse of the game's netcode goes really high sometimes , even more so when you can't do anything on reaction . like even if you can spot the interruption point in offence , you try to stop it , get fucked -_- .

even i get to play offline sometimes , even tho not competitively , im actually surpised everytime how everything comes out just on the flick of your finger . holds, ducks, backdashes you name it .

yeah, it's a totally different game online, especially when it comes to reacting to free cancels. aint nothing more annoying than seeing someone cancel a string and in your head your like, "okay, they're not gonna finish the string, let me put a button on the screen to stop this fake ass pressure" and then you get CH for your troubles
