hard mode, i believe hard mode starts you off with the DS and the nunchuck, then master ninja starts you with DS, nunchuck and the lunar, hope im right

Have fun with that. The nunchucks are very fun to use in Ninja Gaiden, but I guess that goes to almost every weapon in the game.
