We don't? I mean there are a few characters on the JPN VA side that might wound the ears, but the ENG cast has a ton that might be hard for some because we are used to hearing those words so it doesn't sound off as cool I suppose.
If only we can manually select each one for ENG and JPN voices.

It's probably like how some players prefer Japanese which isn't our native languages, maybe they think it's cool hearing ours
I personally prefer english, my mains English VAs are good and Japanese sounds too stylized when fighting, like they're told how to yell and scream

I like very few of the Japanese voices in DOA anyway, most sound too similar like there's only 3-4 VAs per gender while English has more diversity

well, if we're going by majority then yes i guess we do like the JP VA's. But i'd still rather play this game with the english VA's, mainly because i kinda grew tired of the JP VA's, and doa5 english track is a nice change of pace after 4 games of JP only voice tracks
