If you're willing to tackle the very steep learning curve of the pvp and can get a full team of others who are also willing, then they're a lot of fun. If not, pass on them.

The pvp is very skill gap heavy and strongly focused on teamwork. Playing it alone is not advisable. Also, UE is not very active anymore.

Aside from the pvp, there's just the incredibly boring and repetitive campaigns that I don't recommend and 4's incredibly boring and repetitive Horde mode that I don't recommend.

Thanks. I dont have any good shooters on ps4 or pc. Guess i'll wait for destiny 2. 343 should have given pc users full access to halo 5's multiplayer and not just custom matches/forge

If you get Gears 4, it's crossplay with X1 so I'd play it if you want. While I can't particularly "teach" you the game, I can explain some things and just give company lol. Been playing since Gears 1 so I'm pretty familiar.
