  • Truthfully, my disappointment comes from Mai. Like mentioned before, TN played hella favortism and business to bring that character back (A guest at that). Another character that people "subbed" rather than main.
Makers nuts, DOA is getting crazy flack all over Twitter. Not a good look. You can't exactly defend this. You have to honestly accept this L.
A guy I know proposed to his woman in front of my building (it's a moment where you'd stick around and clap to congratulate them), took out the ring and everything and she was tearing but she said no in the end and ran off to her building. They've been together for years too. She might not been ready but damn...feel bad for this guy...
Maker's nuts, how many editions does DMC5 have now?? they got -another- edition upcoming that comes with an actual real bike.

Not the content itself but rather suprised at how many editions they have now. They have like 8 editions now? Just suprised at Capcom currently on how much bits they put in for supporting DMC5. I've seen games that were super good but only had maybe 3 editions tops or so.

I have big faith in DMC5 though and hoping it's pretty long, hoping way more enough time to play as Dante more than DMC4 in character usage length and not tied to specific levels aha.

I think all characters are tied to specific levels in DMC5, but all the levels seem to be unique rather than re-treading past areas/bosses to artificially extend gameplay time. Compared to DMC4, the thing I'm most excited about for Dante is that his weapon selection is so, so much better this time around.
Look at Bass's arms when he tosses Kokoro at the wall via that video. His arms twitches, spazzes out, and arm gets reversed (literally), put it in slow motion if you have to lol.
DOA6 game copies are already out here in NY and I already seen the game cases. Literally was just a hand away from me at the back of the store. Will try to get some copies (hopefully, they have strict policies now).
Interesting note that might have not (or might of) been mentioned. Limbo stuns from stance specific attacks are not present for DOA6 either.

Which ones are those exactly? I can't remember the distinction but I know of them.

@Hold_Junkie93 Ah gotcha. It's a stun at a specific stance direction that forces a BT situation on an opponent and they can't hold afterwards.

Raidou and Jann Lee's 4H+K, as well as Bayman's H+K and an attack from Christie (forgot input). Ayane etc.

Where they do the old man and go, "Ow! My back!" ? Hmm.. that's strange Like Marie Rose 6H+K
Seen a poll on FB with top Baji Quan characters. Do you agree with the ranking?

    1) Yun
    2) Akira
    3) Yang
    4) Leo
    5) Kokoro
    6) Julia Chang

Seems pretty accurate. The twins is debatable, can't speak for Julia. Granted that it's vague from either gameplay or history behind them.

I say Julia is just higher since she uses hers pretty fluidly but she uses a mix of different martial Arts as well too plus it's hard hitting while Kokoro hits fairly hard, but hers doesnt really look as strong as the others xD

Akira should of been #1. He does the Tetsuzanko and Byakko Soushouda the best.

Boi after practicing it for 4 years, leo uses basic stuff that you learn in your first month, super boring, julia uses it only partially ( but it is rarely teached without a mix) and Sf is way too basic for a listing but both brothers were good. Aki and Koko are the only top spot ones, followed by Julia. You could almost list Gen, Eliot, Lei and Helena too because their styles are often teached within Baji.
In my opinion, the hardest part in learning a completely different fighting game you've never played before from another company....is "starting over". Involving yourself with another community, learning another 30+ characters etc. Literally starting over is a barrier because you'd have to invest a similar time to a FG you played a lot before. Then it's tolerance+patience right after.

@Force_of_Nature True. At least other fgs have strike punishes. Well, DoA has a couple here and there but throws are obviously the main focus. In other games when playing online, if you don't get your punish, at least you're striking thus your opponent has to show respect for it in most cases anyway. Oh, stun and everyone having sabaki, can't forget that. You're not simply exchanging attacks either.

Since there's times you do get a deep enough stun and can get another hit in. I remember a couple Tekken players feeling annoyed at the stun yet fine with a game you get hit once and your life is down to 50%. It's probably because their damage is more free in that aspect minus fighting in neutral to begin with.

imo overall, bomba. I've found 3D games within one another to be easy to translate skill. If you're a KOF player, you can learn SF easy. Anime players too but besides the japanese, they don't like to play, "Lame" and just want crazy combos, so, SF4/MVC more their cup o tea. If you play 3S/Alpha. SF players can learn SNK games, older ones to an extent better than say, KOF13/14 imo
DMC5 is looking clean. Can't wait to play as Dante.

While Dante's theme (subhuman) sucks, I actually think that both Nero's theme (Devil Trigger) and V's 9Crimson Cloud) are phenomenal.

I played all the DMCs, those games are my jam. Even the dumbass reboot. DMC3 ftw till this day. However, at the time of the oversaturation of games sequels around 2007-2009, the publicity surrounding Nero, kinda like the SF4 hate at the time. Stopped me from considering. I had every game from that time period EXCEPT for DMC4. So, IDK if I can appreciate 5 now. At least storywise.
