So is this a one day tournament? If the tournament starts Saturday as oppose to Friday than that may give me a really good shot at being able to go and not having to get out of work somehow.

So i'm guessing they are just going to be mostly using the brand new characters and will be trying to use any new mechanics as much as they possibly can. Do they really need a whole 3 hour block to showcase this game though? I can't imagine I will be tuning in for the entire showcase.

Increase the speed of ducking and rising! The ducking is so slow that it is just about impossible to block lows or duck grabs unless you read well ahead of your opponent and even than there is a chance you still get hit.

Is TN gonna finally give Ayane some love and give her some costumes? I know a lot of characters have not gotten costumes either, but Ayane seems to be the odd girl out being the only female without a new costume. And this is why I pre order the games I want the most, though to be honest I would never have expected a shortage but w/e it doesn't concern me.

I always do the single player/story mode of new games I get first. Helps me get a feel for the game and character before jumping into some online matches. Plus I like being able to unlock things before going online just because I wouldn't feel right otherwise for some unknown reason.

Well I don't think my Gamestop will have a midnight release, but I will be there the second they open up on the 25th. At least maybe I can get a good night of sleep first before I spend they next untold amount of hours straight playing it.

I'm excited for this training mode, a fighting game needs to have a training mode with lots of solid features in order to keep someone like me engaged in it. The only thing I probably won't use will be the online lag conditions mode, I just don't see the point of trying to get good at playing...
