I never got the chance to play rumble roses. Maybe when I finally get a 360, that will be one of the first games I get for a good laugh.

I did see SC5 at namco arcade if anyone is interested in it. Things are looking much better than SC4, though a lot of things are simplified.

The first game was also faster paced and had better setups.

It had the fanservice but nowhere near the borderline porn level of XX.

I am really sad the series went full out blown fanservice.

I'll give the first game a little more credit.

It AT LEAST had offline multiplayer, tighter controls, and the ability to choose which swimsuit you wanted to wear for each character. The swimsuits were also less racy in comparison. Oh, and you had better control of custom music.

If only the mechanics adopted a little more from Beach Spikers at the time, DOAX2 could've been a little more sophisticated as a resort game for at least the volleyball portion. But noooo, Itagaki had to rush that shit down too.
