I've heard of strings that "jail" (or force the opponent to block said string and cannot interrupt it) in Tekken games in the past, but I never really delved deeper into the mechanic. Seeing that such strings exist in DOA, I was wondering what are its benefits and how is it incorporated in strategies? I assume it's mostly to frustrate the opponent and that safer jail strings would be good for mixups.
