DOA Dimensions online scheduled for termination?

Not to be the bearer of bad news (again), but Nintendo is shutting down the online features on the 3DS and Wii U, respectively. Unfortunately, since Dimensions is a 3DS-only game with no reissue in sight, I think it's safe to say there won't be much time left for people to play Dimensions online versus, among other 3DS-only games with multiplayer, before those doors close forever.

Man, that sucks ass. I had so many fond memories of playing DOAD online at launch while casually strolling around my local library.

It's sad online for the 3ds is getting shut down although I don't think it'll affect Dimensions players much since I don't think anyone is really playing the game anymore. It'd be nice tho if they could at least make Dimensions for a current Gen Nintendo console tho
