DOA4 and DOA Xtreme 2 for Xbox 1 Backwards compatibility

Microsoft are asking Xbox One owners to vote for the Xbox 360 games they’d like to see added to the console’s backward compatible list. [These Xbox 360 games are both Physical and digital releases] At the very top of the list is Read Dead Redemption, with over 35,000 votes so far. Since we love Dead or Alive as a fighting game community let us show our passion and support by voting for Dead or Alive 4 and Dead or Alive Xtreme 2, and other DOA titles. Here's the link https://xbox.uservoice.com/forums/298503-backwards-compatibility According to Microsoft the first 100 Xbox 360 games with the most votes will get to be playable on Xbox One by fall 2015. Please let's get as many Votes as we can for DOA 4. So that we can continue to support this classic gem for another decade on Xbox One. Thank You.

Sadly the top games have like 40,000-50,000 votes but these games only have 1000 and 1500 respectively. I highly doubt either game will be added if they are based on popularity. Its best to either hang on to your 360 or get one for cheap. If Microsoft's pathetic support for the 360's backwards compatibility was any kind of indication, I wouldn't hold much hope for them supporting this effort for very long.

I personally think why stop with just 360, why not have original Xbox compatibility, making that name Xbox One mean, The One Xbox console you need. Plus I would imagine such a powerful console would have no problem playing the old games. DOA Ultimate anyone?

I would love to see Xbox origanal games on Xbox one but sadly that's not happening. I love DOA2 Ultimate. It's what got me started playing DOA competitively Online.

...shouldn't all games become instantly backward compatibile if a console truly supports it?
I don't get it, it's not true backward compatibility if they have to work on specific games to make them compatible, that's porting no?

Something to do with licensing or to that extent I hear.

Only guaranteed games so far the public launch is 1st party like Gears, Halo, Fable etc.

I personally wanna be able to play DMC HD Collection but its uner 500 so its likely to not even happen.

Also is there one for DOA5LR? Its on xb1 sure but you cant play with 360 people.

My only question is why are people voting for games that already have remakes? Gears I can understand (and I would happily vote for) but there is already a Halo collection for XBone with the first four games and 3ODST campaign if you support the game long enough. I can understand being able to play people who don't have the console but at this point it really is time to start saving up and get a current gen, games for previous are gonna stop this year and 360 support won't be around forever.

Also, I hope Microsoft has been looking into this for a long time so we don't get the old PS2 and first release PS3 laser issues for physical copies (for those who don't know playing PS1 games on PS2 would wear out the reading laser and would force you to get a new PS2 or replace the part. PS3s with the function had the same issues with DVDs and PS2 games, hence why Sony stopped doing it). I'm gonna suggest we all go digital for the backwards titles, I know I am so I don't kill my laser.

Companies have to give their approval and most won't consent if they have a paid version of their game on the current gen consoles. I don't see TK allowing LR since they have a version for sale. They won't cannibalize their own sales. They seem to have already approved NG3RE though since it was shown in the BC announcement video at E3.

It's digital either way, when you insert capable discs it downloads them onto the HDD.

Decision: One of the Hardest games i ever played in my life. Or Casino minigames and watching Chicks in bikinis sit around, pole dance for me, and perhaps play volley ball if I'm up for it.....

Even though I switched from Xbox360 to PS4 (as many did) I'm going to vote for DOA. :)
Wow...all these shooters taking the top spots! o__o' Especially the number of Call of Duties is just ridiculous... I'm really glad, that I switched to Sony. E3 also was the best confirmation.

Emulation vs actual hardware.

Like the original run of ps3 had the actual hardware to play all ps1 and ps2 games, while later ones could only use emulators, which is why you now have to wait till whatever they program to work to show up on PSN.

But will DOA4's servers be active for online play? I still voted but it doesn't seem practical when online will be inactive, you can just dust off your old 360 for that...
