With DOA out of the evo list, will anyone be holding a side tournament? I will be in Vegas at that time, so I will probably compete in evo for Street Fighter, but wouldn't mind joining a DOA tournament as well.

Yes, there will indeed be a DOA5LR side tournament at EVO 2015. I expect it to be bigger than Tekken 7's day one tourney.
