DOA5LR HDMI Glitch when Quitting only DOA5LR PC

Apparently this glitch has happened only with this game. whenever you quit DOA5LR every once in a while my TV (main monitor) Shuts off but not my VGA monitor (2nd monitor). the GPU is a Nvidia GT 730.

the workarounds were simple once i figured it out:

• Restarting my PC only to find out the HDMI cable was faulty (might be the port too)
• Investing on DVI (if possible)
• Not playing the game in full screen
• Possibly thinking of replacing my GPU for a better one

it might work in full screen again but this has only happened to me twice every few months and it might happen again. if this is not the right place to talk about this let me know and i can figure out a better way to settle it. what i really want to know is has this issue ever happened to you?
