hitomi string 4k p p p variant?

i was playing a versus match against hitomi and she launched me and started the 4k, ppp string but one of the punches skipped and she finished the string with the last punch of the string. is this some kind of glitch? it happens in the fourth round of this versus match, i am the Tailgate Hitomi and the CPU is the Pop Idol Hitomi
