Is it possible to download the update onto disc?

So I have a xbox with an unreadable disc problem. I can play games, but it'll take my xbox a few tries first. So anyway, I put in Doa5 and after awhile I finally get the game to boot. It is at this point it tells me that I need to update or I can't play the game, so I agree to it. Long story short is that the xbox froze during the update and so is now stuck at a 'Can't read the update from disc' error page. The xbox can't seem to boot doa5 at all now to finish the update.

So is it possible to burn the update to a cd and then have the xbox run that. And if so, where do I get the update from?

Try deleting all DOA5 files from your hard drive and see if it works.
