Community Potential Issue

Hello,

I wasn't sure where to post this. I've read the forum rules -- the answer may be in there but I don't think it is/ I don't know how to interpret my question into the forum rules so I was hoping Mr. Wah or someone could help me out with this. Also, I couldn't decide the proper prefix for this. I think it fits well under "Community" or "Not a Bug". I am not intentionally misleading via my title.

First: I am not trying to push for/ argue for/ make a case for what I am about to ask. If the answer is no, I promise to not bring it up again.

Soon DOA5LR will be released on the PC. One of the inherent components of this is modding/customizing et cetera, et cetera.

1. Today, I've made just a few casual comments like "If they don't put this costume in, I will mod it." Is this permissible?

2. In the future, would making "Favorite Mod Thread" be permissible?

I ask these questions so I don't mistakenly break a rule that I am not clear on. I also don't want to potentially get FSD in some legal trouble. Not that it would get that far, if I ever did make that mistake, of course.

Thank you for your time. Sorry if this is a stupid question, and I also apologize if this is the wrong forum to post in.

At the present time, as long as the modifications aren't on the FSD servers I wouldn't have a problem with it. Otherwise, I wait for the release of the game to see how Team NINJA responds to modifications and what modifications are released.

Additionally, the rules of the board state to not post anything that is pornographic so of course those types of modifications shouldn't be on display or discussed.

Also, I promise I wasn't speaking about adult-themed or any kind of commercial sex-work character mods. Strictly E - M-rated costumes.

I would love to have a Duke Nukem outfit for Bass too and in the end, it's gonna end up being on the client side. The game won't really be affected unless your custom mesh is some ridiculously detailed Imperial robe. Otherwise, it should be okay and won't slow your game down.

I shouldn't really have to elaborate on this but I will. If you want to link that content on the site, it's fine. It's normal game content. But don't go posting pictures of it outside of spoiler tags. A lot of people read the site from work and they shouldn't have to avoid it. That said, we may just tag a specific thread as potentially NSFW in the title. We'll have to see what starts popping up. Nudity or erotic content is straight up not allowed. Sexy is but we have to be careful how it's shared.
