Yeah i agree with this. You have some show-off cow-girl lass with these enormous chest mounted spheres big enough to suckle dinosaurs, boasting her jiggling merchandise all over the place with a swagger in her walk that screams confidence in flashing neon font, yet in this recent costume pack it looks as though shes about to pull out some weeds with Bass in the backyard for some Sunday afternoon father & daughter gardening time. I reckon someone like Hitomi would look good in paint-stained, unbuttoned denim overalls as she has the whole girl-next-door look. That's just my opinion though mind.
This costume could fit a few other characters as well i reckon just not someone like Tina or Christie, which is why i reckon when they release these costumes, not to always base them on one category. Mix up the garbs abit so every character isn't wearing a similar outfit, because this type of style just isn't going to suit all characters imo. But i don't work for TN so what do i know yeah. Halloween pack was an exception though, i thought they did that quite well.
Had a natter with my mate at lunch today about the DoA costumes & it went like this:
Him: Hey man are you grabbing the next upcoming costumes?
Me: Nah mate, i don't really find them unique enough for me to throw down my hard earned, maybe next batch of costumes.
Him: What? You don't find them unique enough? Are you serious? What about this one?
Him: Are you telling me this isn't unique?

No, not really. I guess, Team Ninja is still figuring out, how the contest, most of all the voting, could be carried out this time.
I'm still a little torn, between feeling disappointed, being the winner of a contest, they apparently want to forget as soon as possible, starting already the next one and with no trace of any prize yet
...or if I should feel excited, hoping to make a good place at the next competition too. Also the design part of a contest is always the nicest part. Isn't it? This needs to be in the Halloween pack.
Kinda lame...Marie already has a maid outfit. But another dark maid outfit is probably the first thing coming to mind, when thinking about a Halloween costume for Marie Rose... I'm sure, we will see many of very similar ideas in this contest. A big chance of winning has either a really unique costume no one else dared to even think of...or the costume is the best designed/drawn of several similar costumes. Also, I guess, there will be many costumes directly inspired by other games, anime/manga... What do many people do on Halloween? Dress up as someone from modern pop culture, which will be a problem, because of copyright infringement. I hope Team Ninja does make it very clear, that these kinds of costumes are not allowed. They'd be very popular in a voting, still there will be hardly a chance, these could end up in the game.

Don't forget, TN will very likely not include any blood/gore in the costumes and the characters can't carry any weapons, like this sickle. What's left is a typical maid costume (Pai Chan anyone?) just with a mask. I still think, it's lame, for any character, sorry.
Speaking of Rachel, a costume like the sabotaged one from the last contest would be very awesome.

From what I could tell with Google translating it:
6p+k now properly knocks down at the end of threshold.
For both parry entries fixed a bug where you get a P as if the parry connected even though the parry whiffed.
Seems like they are just bug fixes.

That's what I was trying to say. XD Of course it works! It has already worked before. And that's why I find it lame. I mean, this is a Halloween contest, where you can let your imagination run absolutely wild. There could be so many awesome fantasy costumes. But the first thing Argentus says: We need another maid uniform, lol. XD

So they're giving Phase-4 Kasumi's old dlc as her debut bundle pack- but re-coloured.... ha...haha...ha...he... wait, I feel like I should have seen this coming.
I guess we can probably guess what Nyotengu will get when she's released... Nurse... cheerleader... some weird school training costume... all stuff that will probably look ridiculous on her. Okay, so now that we have 5 new females in DOA5U (Rachel, Momiji, Marie, Phase 4 and Nyotengu) and pretty much all the stereotypical girls in fighting games (except the soldier girl and the exotic fortune teller), what are your expectations regarding male newcomers ?
