So here's the heads up so that people do not get overly amused with themselves.
Despite their interest in rollback. There is a possibility that you can implement it wrong (SFV had this problem), so before people jump the gun like "Oh my god! rollback!", take it with a grain of salt that netplay can still use improvements or still end up like an absolute hot mess.
For start, KOF 02' UM rollback was done by the help of Code Mystics. They had some positive results with it, but the same cannot be said for KOF15 since it's being done by SNK themselves. It's to ensure people don't be like "The netcode is bad, rollback is a lie", and because of that feedback, SNK will think it's bad and in the future may force to go back to delay-based netplay. For the love of god, do not convince SNK to do this. Be smart with your responses.
Obviously I stopped playing fighting games a while ago so I won't jump on the hype train for any fighting game as of yet so I will always be watching instead. Now the thing is, there is good rollback and then there is bad ones. If the netcode is dogshit while it's rollback, SNK did it wrong. Point-blank period. Tell them to implement it better, don't tell them to go back to delay-based netplay. Just because delay-based is playable does not mean it's always good (because obviously it's not).
