Ladies and gentlemen of the DOA community, the Battle Royal 2015 series has came to a conclusion this past weekend with Defend the North. Yes, Paradise was suppose to close the series, but the tournament itself was cancelled due to lack of interest according to Shin Blanka.

But now, the results are in. The last two players that scored the highest points in the series and will be competing at NEC16 for the Grand Finals are...

cR|SonicFox and Sweet Revenge!

That's right ladies and gentlemen, SonicFox and Sweet Revenge have the highest points in the series. These two men will be joining Kwiggle, Electrified Mann, XCalibur BladeZ, CrazySteady, TeruRock, and Gehaktbal to compete in The Grand Finals at NEC16 on December 11-13, 2015.

As an apology to the sudden cancellation of the final west coast qualifier, Team Ninja's Tom Lee has announced that they are using the $500 pot bonus from Paradise and adding it to the NEC pot bonus, along with an additional $500. This brings the pot bonus to a total of $4000. Also, the winner of the NEC16 tournament will be sponsored to the 2016 finals.

See you all at NEC, everyone! Let's show the world what this community is capable of!

Xcalibur Bladez won Summer Jam, not the Fall Classic. But congrats to all the qualifiers!

Really looking forward to how the Americans tangle with TERU ROCK & Gehaktbal.

Summer Jam was just points. The Fall Classic was a qualifier.

Since Kwiggle won TFC, he already qualified since he won Winter Brawl. BladeZ was runner up, thus he qualified from TFC.

That's how they did it? Weird that Summer Jam 9 would just be "points" considering that it was Double Points and arguably the biggest of the US tournaments this season. Kwiggle won majority of the tournaments this year, so he's qualified, like, 3 or 4 times over lol.

The whole instant qualifier thing was flawed, because if you've already qualified, you shouldn't be able to participate in a later event in the Battle Royal because it would be taking the 1st place spot, along with many potential points, away from someone else that isn't already qualified.

This is what Dr. Dogg said about the instant qualifier:

"The point totals of the four players who win the specially designated tournaments will be removed from the running so that no one player can earn two trips to the Grand Finals."

What I was trying to say was even though Kwiggle won TFC, BladeZ qualified because Kwiggle already qualified to Grand Finals via Winter Brawl.

Yeah, sounds like what happened for SonicFox last year at one of the Road to TFC events that Kwiggle won, despite already being qualified for Road to TFC. Still think the system was flawed overall.
