DOA5U Trouble finding ranked matches?

has anyone else been having trouble finding ranked matches at all in DOA5U? I get bored after searching for so long so i cancel. It could just be because I am searching for connection at 4+ but it even seems odd that i still cant find a match with those settings. Every other option is at the max allowed...i am on east coast US btw...

There's a problem with matchmaking.

Supposedly they fixed the issue with 1.02 but I only found one person in solo ranked after 5 minutes of searching and he refused to play me. In TR it takes me 10 seconds to find someone, WTF?

Honestly, most 3D players I know play TR. I know 3 who play DoA.
