Using the Nintendo 3DS with the Docking Station

It might just be me or placebo, but I feel that I can work with the 3DS' directional pad much better if I'm playing the system while it's on the docking station. It could just be the thickness of the grip that's working for me, and I still have issues with the pad, but it certainly feels better.

I'm curious, have any of you tried it?

I haven't yet, but I can see why it would help. My hands are huge compared to the 3ds.

Same with me I think it's the thickness also. With it on I can side step without catching a cramp in my hand.
