Let me put it this way, let's say we were talking about DOA5 and how Kasumi's costumes would be like, it would make sense if her costumes were just ninja costumes with a few exeptions (dlc doesn't count). But for this to be an Ultimate game I think giving her costumes like her jpop outfit and that new warriors orochi cosplay she has makes sense for a game like this because get this.... while it's not necessarily canon, so as long as that costume looks right and suitable on that character it's good. Remember this is a not 100% game
Well, I didn't mention the JPOP costumes at all, because... they look good on both Kasumi and Ayane because it's in their style. Also, Kasumi shouldn't only get ninja costumes, she's had plenty of casual costumes in the passed along with the other girls. The WO2 costume does work for Kasumi because that costume is here type of costume, you can picture her wearing something of the sort. What I'm talking about is someone like Lisa in a nurse costume, does that look suitable on her type of character? She's a scientist. Helena, in a cop outfit? She's posh. Brad is a drunk not a cowboy. And alot of the other costumes are just based off of bad squared circle stages.

Forgive my theory but I think it's this, I think the cop outfit for Helena was probably mainly a costume for the mature women to promote DOA, Brad perhaps because some western people are drunks (if you watch the movies and such), And for Lisa....

If TN did in fact base Lisa's nurse costume after Anesthesia from Rumble Roses, that just goes to show I was right when I said it's obvious they can't make original costumes.
Your Helena theory eh, I just think they threw that together along with Tina's. Again bland themed costumes add that to the clowns, explorers, and nurses.
And western people are drunks? I think there's drunks all over the world including China.

Lisa: I have saw a lot of people asking for a nurses outfit for Lisa since I think since people already thought her and Anesthesia looked alike that they already visually knew it would look right on her
Helena: Yeah that might be right, I also think perhaps the cop outfit was originally a main idea for Christie that perhaps made the designers wanna do the same for them two. Although even though they all have the same themed outfit, it does sort'a fit their style like Helena has the classy female cop outfit and Tina has the badass female cop outfit and how Christie has the sexy female cop outfit

I like uniforms myself but only to those whom I see fits wearing them. Tina with the Sonya Blade gear was very randomly placed. I don't see the "elegance" on Helena's cop suit and same thing can be said for her cheerleader along with Lisa's and Christie's cheerleaders.

I think the Sonya Blade look made me like it on Tina even more. As for the cheerleaders outfits I have to agree with you it while it looked nice I thought all the girls except Helena and Christie fit it, Lisa actually did since she has the right fighting style for it. Tina fit it well since she has the cheerleader look, as for the younger girls (Kasumi,Ayane,Hitomi,Kokoro,Lei Fang,Mila), it already fits them because of that

Bass is rich? I think Zack being able to own an island makes him classified as rich than pretty wealthy, same as Sarah being the head of the Bryant Conglomerate and Jacky as an indy race driver gaining sponsors so both the Bryants are rich as well. Bayman as an assassin does pay off well so putting him on pretty wealthy with Christie is more accurate. I'm puzzled what makes Rachel placed on the pretty wealthy category?
